i may be on hold for jeep now, wife has decided that she wants to get a r.v, for logicial reasons, the jeep will be off road only which means towing it to events, ect, she does not want to have to be staying in motels, or camping in a tent, god help her if she has to sleep on the ground, so i am going to make her happy, lord knows ill be to poor after buying, fixing, fixing, and more fixing of the jeep, so we are going to pick up a nice 30 foot or bigger r.v, and i will be building a new trailer, big enough to get two autos on, then she says we can go to what ever events we want, have a place to stay, and she wont have to piss in the woods, lol, with any luck we will be camping at playgrounds alot next summer, i know most have camp grounds on site or very close, and i wont have to rush to get home, hopefully we will be able to find a place to get it in near the clubs new playground, even though im out my off roader right now, i will still be active here, and off road with yas in the spring, promise, still want a sticker, hmmmmm should get one to put on r.v to,

isn't the other vehicle an expedition? pull out the back seat, throw in a mattress....poof, instant RV. and a tow bar will solve the trailer issues. Come on man don't let the woman keep you down...unless you can keep her down too. and then it's an almost fair trade. Good Luck.

yeah, tried that this summer, did not go well, my parents have a big r.v bus, she stayed in that, now she has to have a working bath/shower and all that other fancy crap, it will be o.k, ill be ready to off road in spring, early summer, even if its not in a jeep, might get my old toyota back that will work with a few little mods, like stabalizing cab, chopping up bed and front fenders, hehe, its a rust bucket, but cab is good, and it will clear 40s easy, may do that anyway, and put a full cage around it buggy style, nothing for mud to cling to, need to get out and check that frame though, its been a long time, might need to find a new r22 motor, but was in good working condition when i parked it,

your wife is more maintenance than a jeep!
just messing with you bro.
theres always rvs on craigslist here in watertown. depends on what level of old/crustyness she will accept i guess.
good luck with it. hope you compromise and split the cash between a jeep and a rv. there have been a few yjs popping up for good prices lately. theres a red one for 1500 up right now that i would snag if i was you as long as the frame is solid.
i think people are having issues selling right now because xmas is creeping in and most people are starting to save for gift season
plus school already started so those looking for cheap rides for their kids have already come and gone. nov is the best time to buy because sellers of cheaper cash vehicles are looking for that xmas cash and will usually go down quite a bit.

careful, if you see a bad spot on the frame, there's plenty of others you won't see.
consider just buying a new frame.
