Does anyone have any contacts with hunting clubs in the area who may be leasing large tracts of land? We need to find an area that we can groom trails, and established a managed access area for club members. I know there has been talk for some time of membership dues, if we can find a leased land partner that we can buy off season rights to dues might be a way to get the money for rights as well as promote resposible use. I alway pay closer attention when it impacts my wallet.

Most hunters around here frown apon people wheeling and off roading on their hunting grounds due to distrurbing the deer's paterns, mating, feeding, and off spring. Most hunters frown upon us off roading in the areas that we do now from July to January because they are trying to get ready for hunting season. As for the dues, it will never happen. To many problems in that area. Also the cost of a $20 due wouldn't cover much of a land lease even if all 41 members paid its still only $820, not close enough to do anything and we would probably drop our membership down to 15 if we started charging. Our best bet is the events that we have started at the race track. If things continue in a good way we can turn it into an off road park very easily. They have over 400 acres to play with!

talk about shot down....lol. Ok i'm not trying to come up with any more ideas from here. It's too depressing. I do look fwd to getting out and seeing the track. I had no idea it had 400 acres of playground around it. then again, i haven't been there at all and have no idea what it has. Look fwd to getting out there. I hear that area likes to show off jeep belly's
