I should have her all together by the middle of Feb. I just got a Newly rebuilt 7004r. It was built with a few x-tra clutches, A new performance valve body and a new torque converter. The convertor's stall speed is 1800 rpms. I ordered the engine mount kit from Advance Adapters it should be here on the 16th. I picked up the bolt in kit because It comes with a sweet frame brace for under the engine. As soon as I get mount in I may need to ask some folks for a bit of help. I'll need man power getting the drivetrain in and lined up correctly. So if you will work for beer please let me know!! Also let me know when your available after the 16th.. Thanks bill Here is a link to the Mount kit if you want to take a look...

Here is the first day of my build. That is the new motor mount. I like how it tightens up the front on the frame. It might need it with the 350. It is a TBI motor so I think the HP is around 220 or so. Just enough to break stuff. The other pic is 2 transfer cases one is a np 231amc and the other is a np231c. I hear the 231c has bigger chain and planetary gears. I'll let you know. I'm going to take it apart today, I think. I have to use the 27 spline input shaft out of the 231c case as well as any bigger or stronger parts. I should have a pretty tough 231. Im going to be putting a sye kit on too. I just hope to get the engine out of the trunk. Smiley Looks like it could be tough...

While you have it apart, there is space for 6 planetary gears, but only 3 are installed on the 231AMC. The 231C might already have 6, if not, just take the 3 out of the AMC one, if they'll fit.
